My one or two words about censorship:
I see that some people don’t know nor understand why “weibo” suddenly censored a lot of art content which includes elements of violence or homosexuality. Please, if you don’t know China political history, read something, even in wikipedia, about political situation in People’s Republic of China in 50′ and 60′ in 20 century. And learn that maybe this country take a long trip from Mao’s governance to present day, but it’s still werid hybrid (communism with capitalism) and web is under really strict censorship. And it’s a serious law. Law that doesn’t works like in democratic countries, please remember it.
As a kinda historian and person from Poland, country which from 40′ to 1989 was under a communism’s Soviet Union, know how that kind of cencorship works: at a frist glance it doesn’t has sense at all, but belive me, it has for governings - it just shows power of system. It’s not aganist “gay” or security system for “violence”, it’s aganist your freedoom of choice. You need to know you are not allowed feel freely. Communism likes to control all aspects of citizen life.
In modern China law is really flexible so maybe it’s temporary “tighten” and it will be loosed, but now - OX, stay strong!
